About Lucy

Lucy's background is unknown. She showed�%A0up at a young disabled family's home, had a collar, but no tags, she was obviously an inside well behaved house trained dog. They contacted all of the neighbors and no one knew her or anyone associated with the breed. The Vet referred her to us when she called for assistance. She has a vet appointment on 6/28/18 for a health check, We have done a name test of many different sounds and common names, this girl (who is normally dancing with energy staring at you intently) lays down or sits in submission with you say Lucy or Lulu. She has two tumors on either hind lend, which appear to be fatty and nothing to worry about.�%A0 We are searching for a family, but are fearful that this 4 or 5-year-old girl was 'dropped off' which happens frequently in the neighborhood. She is a typical Weim, soulful and attentive she is a loving companion. Her eyes are nervous and she needs reassurance because she is unsure of what is going on in her life.�%A0 She is being treated for heartworms. She does have a spay scar, but no microchip or any identification.
