About Joker

Meet Joker! Joker is this handsome looking Pointer/Lab mix that is sure to catch your eye and guaranteed win you over with his goofy personality. He is estimated to be around 2-3 years old and weighing in around 45-50 pounds. Joker's story of how he came to POP Animal Rescue is one that is often heard too often. His original owners were not fit to have an animal in their possession as they didn't care for him properly and left him outside to run around and scavenge for food. A neighbor finally grew tired of their neglect and confronted them about it where she convinced them to surrender the dog to her when she then brought Joker to us! Despite his high level of exuberance and energy, this guy is very obedient and well-behaved. He's kind of lives up to his name as he loves to do things that will ultimately make you smile and laugh; he is a bit of a class clown! He gets along great with other dogs, loves meeting new people and making friends. Cats are no big deal unless they run from him therefore inviting him to chase after them. We have yet to meet a single person who hasn't fallen in love with him and we guarantee that he will make a great addition to your family!
