About LIBERTY (AZ)

Liberty, named because she was saved the Saturday before Independence Day, is as sweet as they come. While she is well behaved, Liberty still acts like a puppy. Her age is guestimated to be one to three years but our vet will confirm during her spay. Right now she is working on gaining some weight to be spay ready as she was picked up in Phoenix by animal control while emaciated. Liberty was picked up with two other large female dogs. The ACO said they clearly were not best friends but were not fighting either. We hope when she is no longer hungry, we will find her to be dog friendly. Her foster home is working on a slow and steady weight gain now to get her healthy. Liberty knows sit and her foster will find out how many other commands she knows and we will update accordingly. She is VERY well behaved in a car but does know how to stand on automated window buttons so a crate or window lock would be best. She enjoys rides, especially if they include ice cream cones! Liberty is very playful when she's at home. She gets the zoomies like a puppy but is not obnoxious. She loves attention and affection and we are sure she will make someone a fantastic companion very soon! Please apply to adopt Liberty.
