Lily (white one) has convinced Tucker that contact is a good thing:). She has been great for him since day one (fostering) -she is totally non threatening and very gentle. She will definitely do best with another canine or possibly feline (exhibits no prey drive) for company and to help 'bring her out'. She is a bit insecure after 5 months in the shelter but is adapting VERY quickly to home life. She is Housebroken, getting crate trained, non destructive, easy on a leash, LOVES to be close to her person, car rides well and will be learning more commands as we get used to each other. She has been a dream when it comes to handling (bathing, putting on harness, untangling her from long lead) and is so willing to please. Lily is a perfect apartment size at 44 lbs. She has random light brown spots over her soft thick medium white coat. She is super happy and responsive to positive touch reinforcement. In other words, a head pat or scratch behind the ears is as good as a piece of liver:). She has some anxiety which she is rapidly overcoming-certainly attributable to being in a shelter for 5 months and just trying to be invisible.
