Welcome Patti. She is a Long Haired German Shepherd/Collie mix. That is our best estimate. She is a beauty! She was surrendered by a 92 year old man because she was too young and frisky for this man. She also can get out of his chain link fence. If you know the GSD breed you know they need physical and mental stimulation to be completely happy. This was not a fit for her and CCPAL was eager and willing to help this man. It is much better for them to be turned into a rescue than the local pounds as owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized in local pounds here. She is 2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. She has semi erect ears and she has the intelligence of the GSD breed. She is attentive and catches on easy to new commands and new people. She is good on a leash and with other dogs. She is potty trained, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or transported to the East or the West Coast.
