Isabelle is an energetic, playful, sweet gal rescued from a feral cat colony when she was about 3-4 months old. She will snuggle with you, but she'll just need some time to get to know you first. She loves her foster brothers and sisters (cats & kittens of all ages), so we think she'd be happiest in a home with another cat or kitten. This photo does not do Isabelle's unusual coloring justice. We call her a 'ninja tabby' because while she looks solid black on first glance, when you get up close, you can see the deep brown striping and the M on her forehead. She's also got a light undercoat, and a tiny white streak that looks like she accidentally brushed up against some paint. Most of Isabelle's human contact has been with female adults, so we selected 'human compatibility unknown' because there is no option for 'good with adults, children unknown.' With her gentle nature, we suspect she'd be fine with older children who can be patient with her. When you adopt Isabelle, she comes ready to go-she's spayed, up to date on her shots, and microchipped. She's even already got a few favorite toys bring with her to make the transition to her furever home easier.
