Posted 6/29/18, and pictures taken 4/11/18 - Callan was surrendered on 4/11/18. An older woman contacted the Smith County, TX Shelter about her young dog. The officer who talked to her, called me to see if I could help, since the shelter cannot take owner surrenders. I had recently had some adoptions, so I told him that he caught me at a good time. He brought the young dog to me later that day, and I didn't get the dog's name from the home, so I named him Callan. I took Callan to the Gresham Veterinary Hospital on 4/13/18 to get vaccinated, he was listed as a Doberman mix, 1.5 years old, weighed 44.6 pounds, and was neutered by Dehart Veterinary Services on 4/14/18. Callan is good with adults and children, loves to play with the other dogs, has a high pitch bark, is good on a leash, and crate trained. He doesn't like to be crated at night, but is getting better. Anyone interested in adopting him, please e-mail me at [email protected].
