About Sandler

Sandler is a 5-6 month old mixed breed pup who was found as a stray and never claimed. Unfortunately, Sandler was so underweight that he needs to gain a few pounds before it is safe to neuter him. We are very unsure of his breeds, but pretty sure 'mix' is accurate. He only weighs about 30 pounds and will be petite and medium sized once fully grown. Sandler is very happy and likes people. Sandler is in need of all of the puppy training basics and will likely pick up on all of these things quickly. He seems to be intelligent and eager to please. Sandler seems to like certain dogs, but not others. We are unsure how he would do with cats. Sandler would be fine around children that could handle his excitement. At the kennel, he doesn't bark much and enjoys running around the yard. He will go right outside to potty when it's time, so he does have the concept of potty training down. He does fine being crated. Upon adoption, Sandler will be neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is looking for a foster home or an adoptive home to help fatten him up a bit so he can be fully vetted.
