About HEIDI

It is with a super heavy heart that we are having to reach out for some help for one of our own dogs!! Heidi is a 95lb, 8 year old St. Bernard in perfect health...have her vet records! She is fixed and current on EVERYTHING! She LOVES all people and up until recently has NEVER had an issue with any dog. We have had our dog pack of 4 for over 7 years, they have all grown up together and have been BFFs until recently. Heidi and my 11 year old lab mix Juley had an altercation and it ended up with Juley getting hurt. While Heidi is still her same loving self with the other dogs and the many teens in and out of our house, we don't feel it practical to try to keep she and the other dog separated for the remainder of their lives. We have already talked with our vet and have spoken to a trainer and a behaviorist and the only solution is this! **I am hoping to find a home with a fenced yard, NO other dogs and large, senior, dog savvy older kids and adults, for her to live out her senior years in.** She LOVES walks and also LOVES car rides. She is not destructive and is fully housebroken, so she doesn't need to be crated. She has had free run of our home and sleeps on our bed or the couch. She likes belly and back rubs and naps! She's really a laidback, sweet, loving girl, who happens to have an issue with 1 of our dogs. So if you can spread the word maybe just maybe we can find her perfect home from here on out!!
