Charlotte was rescued two months ago from a situation where she was kenneled in a garage due to a very serious bladder infection and consequently, incontinence. She has fully recovered from infection, and we are weaning her off incontinence meds to see if that issue was simply a result of the infection. Charlotte is loving, loyal, great with our two dogs(both female, one 60 pounds, one 11 pounds) is very good in the house, completely potty trained, crate trained, walks well on leash, knows basic commands and rides well in the car. The problem for us is that she will not allow other dogs on our property, and did bite one dog in our yard even after several introductions. Her home would not be able to have visiting dogs unless you crated her. She is a great watch dog, only barks appropriately, and settles down quickly when people come to the house. I have her complete medical record and would be happy to talk further to a very experienced and committed potential adopter. She plays a lot with my 60 pound dog and very much enjoys the companionship. Another submissive playful dog would be a good match for her, and would help her settle in to a new home. If it's important to you, one of her ears is not up, and never will be.
