Little Miss Charla is a delightful little 5 pound Pomeranian girl. She was recently adopted along with one of our other dogs, but her new families other dog did not seem to like Charla. We're not sure why because she is a total sweetheart. So her new family reluctantly had to return her. She is one of our sweet seniors who we believe is somewhere between 10 and 12 yrs old. She was found as a stray and, like most strays, has shown herself to be fairly self reliant. She is not super affectionate but, like a cat, she is affectionate on her own terms and enjoys being petted at those times. She prefers to sleep in her own bed or wherever she can find a comfortable spot to nap, which she does a lot. She was recently spayed and had 2 mammary tumors removed, as well as had 7 teeth pulled when she had her dental. She has recovered well from all this attention and is finally feeling like her old self and wanting to play and run around. Her hearing is beginning to fail but her sight is still excellent, especially when it comes to food. She is house broken and will use a puppy pad if she can't get outside. She is heartworm negative, up to date on all shots and microchipped. Charla gets along well with other dogs and people but cannot be around young children due to her size and age. She has not been tested with cats. Can you open your heart to provide a home for this little lady's golden years? She will make a great companion for some lucky person. Could that be you?
