Hank is a goofy confident happy smart alert guy that is great with people and dogs. He is however more drawn to people than dogs. He is currently living at a doggy day care where he spends his days hanging out with other dogs. Most of the time, he is laying in his favorite spot. Hank was rescued when he was living on the streets of Fort Worth. One of our volunteers spotted him and was not able to get him before the Fort Worth Shelter picked him up. While living on the streets he was constantly battling hunger, dehydration, painful open soars, and avoiding people who ran him off when he was just ask for help. This aweful and lonely life can be enough to stress a dog out to break down their immune system. Hank was diagnosed with demodex mange which is a non-contagious condition that is brought on by a compromised immune system. When CLASP pulled Hank from the Fort Worth shelter, he was in pretty bad shape. Even though Hank is no longer having to fight for his life, he needs to be in a home whether it be a foster or adoptive home so he can finished his journey to full healthy coat. He is still missing some hair on his face and body where his skin was compromised the most from the demodex mites. Hank is now not only demodex mange free but we also treated him for heartworms. Hank loves to go on walks and care rides. If you have questions about Hank please email Julia firstname.lastname@example.org ADOPTION FEE $200-Hank is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative and microchipped.
