About Star

Jack Russell / Dachshund
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Beautiful Star is looking for a new family! She is a 7 year old spayed Jack Russell/Dachshund mix. She sure is a happy lil' lady! Here are some of her preferences: 1. Owner must love going on walks. Star enjoys being outside and seeing the sights. She actually almost 'hops' as compared to walks! It's so cute! 2. Star loves car rides! She'd love for you to take her with when you go bye-bye! 3. Star will do best as the only animal in the home. She doesn't like kitties and dogs who are larger than she is. She also tends to guard her food and doesn't like other animals around it. 4. Smaller kiddos make her anxious. Star is an older adult lady and likes a more calm environment. 5. She loves to hop on your lap and give you kisses. Affectionate, fun, interactive, and loving to adults describe her perfectly. And a few other things - she did great in her previous home with being house-trained and she doesn't cause much trouble at all when she is left out by herself. If allowed, she would love to sleep with you at night. Star is a total lovebug. Regarding her health, she may need to have some dental work done. Her teeth don't seem to be in the best condition. She has had some allergies to food in the past, so her new owners will need to be aware when deciding what diet is best for her. Star also does have a few lumps and bumps and will need to see a vet for further diagnostics. Other than that, Star seems to be a happy, healthy girl! Please check back for updates or just come visit this cutie pie!
