Meet the Lovely Lucy!! If you are looking for the perfect German Shepherd then Lucy is your gal! At 3 1/2 years old, about 60 pounds and she is a well mannered lady who knows all the basic commands, comes when she is called and walks GREAT on a leash! , She has a beautiful long coat that is shiny black and tan. Her mask is absolutely perfect and she was groomed two days ago to get out the mattes and foxtails as well as having a flea and tick treatment. In rescue she is in foster care with 3 other full grown Shepherds, a 4 month old Shepherd puppy as well as two small dogs and cats. She has no drive towards small animals at all and was also raised with children and is very child friendly. Her family had her from 8 weeks old but had to give her up when they fell on hard times financially and were moving in with family members who had 3 dogs that were very unfriendly. Lucy's adoption fee includes her spay, current vaccinations including rabies, professional grooming and flea treatment, leash and collar. An adoption fee does apply. As we pre-screen via email please tell us a bit about you such as your lifestyle, activity level, work schedule, area you live in, house or apartment, how many adults, children and pets in the home, where your pet stays when you are out or at work and where your pet will sleep. Although Lucy is a 'turn key' type of Shepherd who would adapt to many living situations we prefer adopters with larger breed experience as Shepherds are a breed that do need stimulation. In the house she settles down nicely but does love to run and play outside. We thank you for choosing to adopt!
