About Kaysey

Kaysey which means 'watchful and protector,' was found in an abandoned house. She was giving birth to her kittens when a Good Samaritan found her and rescued her from the house. Kaysie has been a very protective mom to her four kittens. When her foster changed the bedding in her nesting box, she promptly moved the kittens and tried to hide them! If the foster was handling the kittens too much, she would use her paw to push her hand away or give a little 'warning nip' to let her know that she needed to stop. Kaysie is distrustful of people and prefers to hang out around them. She loves to look out the windows and talk to the various birds and other wildlife. She is submissive to other cats and tolerates dogs. She needs a family that will take their time to get to know her and for her to get to know them.
