Sporting a spiffy pirate's patch and smiling up sweetly, 45-pound Cinder may be an adult in years but she's a puppy in spirit. Mixing enthusiastic with easygoing and curious with cautious, she's initially shy when meeting new people, yet as soon as she trusts them, she's ever so friendly. She loves the resident dog, taking all of her cues from her - from sitting like her to barking at the same things as her! She also loves playing tug and chewing on bones, having her coat brushed and hiding toys in her crate. Although she likes treats, she's most motivated by praise, and because she's so bright, she already knows 'sit', 'down', 'off' and 'shake' and is eager to learn more. Still somewhat mouthy when she plays, she's at work with her foster mom to change that while also working to improve her leash skills. Crate and housetrained, what clever Cinder needs now is a patient and loving home with no small children, and a mature dog as both guide and playmate to complete her education and keep her mentally stimulated and physically satisfied fur-ever.
