Joey was found on my street in Cleveland, Ohio on 6/20/2018. I have tried everything I can think of to safely find his owners, I have contacted the APL and the city kennel, I have posted his picture on all of the lost pet sites on social media for our area and I have had him checked for a chip. Nothing has worked out. He did not come with a name tag or a vaccination tag so I don't know if he has had any shots. Here's what I do know about him: he is an intact male, he has six toes on each back foot, he is extremely active and loves to walk, a lot, a lot a lot. He doesn't think that a three mile long walk actually counts as exercise. He is very smart and learns commands quickly. He is very sweet but does not like to be surprised by strangers reaching over his body. He does not guard his food. He does not chase but he seems to think that everything has to be in the same room. He is suspicious of squirrels and thinks it is his mission in life to capture the evil red laser dot of doom. He eats like it's going out of style. He like to play games. He hates being alone. He like laying at the foot of the bed or the foot of the chair or the foot of the porch. He likes to follow birds around, he is just the sweetest thing, and I can't believe someone dumped him. He is not a dog for someone who thinks that a daily one mile jog is considered active. This dog needs a job, or a big yard and chickens to babysit.
