STILL LOOKING FOR A WONDERFUL HOMETHAT ISNT AFRAID TO GIVE THESE PRECIOUS GIRLS THE HOME THEY DESERVE!!!!!!!UPDATE!!!! We took Miss Lacey to an eye specialist where we received the sad news about her vision, she has what's called deteriorating retinal detachment which will eventually cause her to be completely blind. The specialist says it's irreversible and all that we can do is maintain good eye care from here on but that she is not in any pain and with proper care we can hopefully slow down the process and keep it as steady as possible aiding in her overall comfort. She is a doll, LOVES life and EVERYONE she meets. She is so calm and so so sweet. She doesn't let her disability get in the way of living life to the fullest, she LOVES car rides and her favorite treat is fresh cooked catfish.. while sitting on the patio of our favorite restaurant... you won't know what you are missing until you meet this gem!!!!!! Her and her sister are still waiting for the PERFECT home who isn't scared to give these girls the chance they need!!!!! READ WHOLE POST!!!!!!!!!! Meet our beautiful 14 pound 10 month old sisters Princess and Lacey! They were surrendered to us because the owner stated they did not have time to raise two puppies, but it was later to be found out that the real reason they were surrendered was because one of the sisters was having issues with her vision (she is the one in the photos who tilts her head)... we had our vet examine her, and he started her on oral steroids as well as steroid eye ointment to see if that helps clear up a possible infection which is causing the cloudieness in her eyes.. he doesn't believe she is fully blind, but there could be a big possibility that she is sadly. Her sisters vision is perfect, and their attachment to eachother is amazing. They LOVE one another, and are so attentive and loving to eachother. We are definitely looking to keep them together... we know we are asking a family to take on a BIG responsibility but if you met these two precious souls their LOVE would outweigh it all. They are spayed... fully vaccinated, chipped, and dewormed. Their fee each is $400 to cover all of our expenses that we have occurred since with us (vetting.. both spays.. vaccines.. chips.. office visits... deworming... medications... puppy pads... food... etc.) if needed we can help discount their total fee together for the perfect home.
