About Max

This 6 year old Mixed Breed guy is a sweetheart. He is very medium and only weighs about 34 pounds. He is very friendly and personality plus. He also is fairly quiet. He is good with adults and children. Max was originally a dog from Craigslist and was supposed to be the second dog in the home. Things were going OK for a few days and then problems started. The other family dog has not adjusted to Max at all so they contacted us to help Max get a great home. Max had never been to the vet and had untreated ear issues. He has had a couple of courses of medication and as a result he may be a little more susceptible to ear infections than the average dog in the future and will need weekly cleanings that can easily be done at home to prevent issues. He is easy going and allows you to help him. Max has lived with children and another dog. Max loves to play with other dogs. He would also be fine as an only dog in the household. Max is decent on leash and would be a good companion for someone active. Max has never been around cats, so we are unsure how he does. Max is crate trained and house trained. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
