Lola is a sweet, low-maintenance senior girl, looking for her happy ever after. She has overcome some health issues - pyrometria and heartworms- and she is expected to go on to have a healthy life for her remaining years. Lola wants nothing more than a lap to sit on, a sunny spot to bask in, and yummy food to nosh. She would make a great pet for an elderly person wanting a loyal companion. While she is gentle and wouldn't hurt a child, her size and age make interaction with young children inadvisable unless supervised. Lola gets along fine with other dogs, as long as they aren't 'in her face' and overwhelming. But she'd prefer to be the center of attention. Lola is house trained and uses a dog door. Lola is being fostered in Aurora. Her adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations up to date, and heartworm preventative for 6 months.
