About Baloo

I have come to the heartbreaking decision that I must surrender my dog. We have had him since he was 12 weeks old and he is currently 4 years old. This week he attacked one of our cats, whom he has know for his whole life, unprovoked. My husband and I love our dog with all our heart so it has been a very hard decision to give him up. His name is Baloo and he is a 4 year old (5 in September) English bulldog mix. He is brindle coloring. Baloo is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, crate trained, house trained, walks well on leash and knows all basic commands and then some (eg. sit, stay, rest, belly, roll over, paw). He is one of the most intelligent dogs I have ever met and easily picks up new commands. He is accustomed to car rides, long hikes, hotel stays and trips to the beach. Baloo has gone on nearly every trip and vacation with us for the past 5 years. He is very comfortable around people and loves to give kisses and snuggle under blankets. While we don't have any children living with us, he has been around children ages 6 months and older and behaved very well around them. Unfortunately, with the events that transpired with our cat, we believe it best that he be in a home without other animals. He has never gone after a human. Our vet confirmed our decision that he would do well in an only pet home.
