About Thomas

Thomas is an 8 yrs old cream/white colored Shih Tzu with soft fluffy hair. He came from a neglect situation and can be skittish of new people at first but has warmed up in his foster home to show he little personality. He is not aggressive at all and is a very sweet boy once he knows you will not hurt him. He will alert you to strangers outside with his unique bark. While he is good with kids he would do better in a home where there is not a lot of unpredictable behavior due to easily getting scared. Thomas is good with other dogs but is more of a companion dog rather than one that is wanting to play. He has come a long way in his foster home. He now knows how to use a doggie door to go outside to the bathroom and is no longer afraid of the dark. Thomas is looking for a loving forever home that will work with him and love him until the end. He has a deviated jaw and an issue with his back leg from an injury a long time ago. The vet says that he has acclimated to it and there is nothing needed to do about it. Thomas is utd on shots, microchipped, and neutered. He is located in Clermont, FL. An application, vet reference and home visit will be required.
