About Azimuth

IWe are looking to re-home Azimuth, aka Azi. He is a 4 year old black lab mix. We have been struggling with him for a bit but we have tried everything we can and we realize now that we are no longer a good fit for him. He struggles with anxiety but he is on medication and it has helped tremendously. His anxiety has gotten worse since we've brought Meyer, our son, home. When Meyer wasn't mobile he just didn't seem to care to recognize he was there but now that he is crawling everywhere he has started to show signs of aggression such as growling and snarling whenever he is freely moving about the room. My husband is currently deployed and will be for a while but there may be some opportunities for us as family to do some traveling and with that, Azi wouldn't be able to come along, which has really pushed us to make this decision. We would love to continue to work with him but I would hate to selfishly hold onto him to then only run out of time and options at the last minute and place him in a bad situation. He would do amazing in a very active home with older kids. He does well with other dogs and when we board him they say he is great there. He loves frisbees and walks, he actually watched TV -his favorite show is Game Of Thrones. He also is home alone all day while we are at work so he does well with that too. If you or anyone you know is interested, I'd love to give you more information about him. He really is an incredible, quirky and fun loving dog who deserves a family that loves all of his personality traits rather than tries to stifle them. Please help him out by sharing this so I can find someone who would love him like we do but could provide a much happier life.
