About Cara

Hi my name is Cara. I am a 6-month-old female, German Shephard mix puppy. I will be medium to large sized when I am done growing. I am very sweet and pretty active so I am looking for a home with another playful, patient dog. I am still that little annoying sister. I would also be good as an only dog where I can be with my human for a lot of one-on-one. I am curious about cats and am doing well but sometimes need to be reminded not to chase them. I would probably do best with older kids because I get excited and jump and might knock a little one down accidentally, although I have been working on my manners and am doing much better. Will need a family who will continue to remind me not to jump. I love all people and enjoy being with my human. I am sweet when I am alone with them but can sometimes get overly excited if other dogs are around. I am still working on my housebreaking but doing pretty well. I haven't quite figured out how to tell you I have to go out so you have to watch my signals. I am learning how to sit, lie down and come. I know my name and understand the word 'NO'. I listen well but I am a puppy so sometimes my impulse control goes out the window as it does with most puppies.
