About Tortilla Taylor

Adoption Fee: $75
Bengal / Abyssinian
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Tortilla Taylor is a handsome brown black and grey short hair male approx. 5yr. His adoption fee is $75. He has been vet checked and neutered. He is good with other cats. He hasn't been around kids or dogs. I was in the house taking pictures and of course he was frightened of me. After 15min he could be bribed with cat treats and started to calm down. He needs a quieter, calm environment along with loving and patient people to ease his adjustment period. Over the years an animal loving man saved many kitties that cruel people threw out like trash. They became his family and he was committed. Sadly, an unexpected event happened and he lost his house. He can't take all of his beloved pets/family members with him but is taking the 4 'with issues'. He didn't take the easy way out and dump his responsibility on the kill shelters. He made the effort. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! Taylor is a shy kitty but after the adjusting process he will bond to his people. He is more independent, not needy in your face but a nice calm kitty to have as a companion. Once adjusted he will sleep next to you and snuggle with other kitty friends. He has been living in a house with 11 other cats so he may not have gotten as much attention as the needier ones. I believe he will blossom in time, with a family that doesn't expect anything from him but does pay attention to him. Dad says all the cats at one time or another will lay on him while he is laying on the couch. He sees them playing and frolicking with each other. This guy just needs a chance. Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. A quality hard food along with a can of food a day is a must for cats to help manage their fluids. Dry foods that help maintain UTI health are Hills, Royal Canine and Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, laser lite, inside home ADOPT Tortilla Taylor FOR LIFE!
