About Bubbles

Meet our little Bubbles! Bubbles is a 9-year-old, 6.5 lb, female Chihuahua who is white with black/grey colored patches. She is a love bug! Bubbles came into PPR as an owner surrender due to unfortunate circumstances. She has adjusted very well in her foster home. Her foster parents just adore her! Since coming into Puppy Pals Rescue, all her shots have been updated and she has been heartworm and fecal tested (both results negative). She has also been micro-chipped and a needed dental was performed with a few resulting extractions. Her foster home has noticed that she seems to bond with women better than men. She loves attention and would do better with someone who is home most of the time. She seems to do better on a leash to go outside to potty and needs to go out more often. If she is in her crate, she's not able to hold more than 4-6 hours. She loves to sit by you when you are watching TV - or even better - in your lap. She enjoys rides in the car and has gone on several nursing home visits and loves when the residents show her attention. They all love Bubbles! Our observation is that Bubbles would do best being an only dog or a companion to one that is similar in size and age. She does not like larger dogs. Bubbles hasn't been around children while in our rescue. She probably would be fine with children over 6 years old - just for her own safety due to her size. She doesn't require a fence, but it would be preferred. If not in a fenced area, she must always be on a leash for her safety. Bubbles has a raspy bark that isn't loud. She does occasionally snort. Bubbles will be your shadow once she gets to know you. She is a very happy little girl who deserves a wonderful forever home. If you are looking for a sweet little senior girl - Bubbles is a winner!
