About Tripp

This beautiful boy is Tripp. He is a Cattledog/German Shepherd mix who was born in mid-September, 2017. He is around 45 pounds and should not grow much more. Tripp is smart, as you would expect. He loves to learn. He knows sit, down, and watch me. He is also house and crate trained. Tripp is shy at the start, but when he warms up he is such a special boy. He is such a devoted dog for an adopter that is comfortable going slow and real build that bond with him. Tripp is good with dogs large and small. He loves to wrestle with his dog pals. He also loves to fetch. LOVES! He will fetch nonstop. Tripp is working on leash training and rides politely on the car. Tripp is a shy guy but so worth the effort. He needs a home with another dog who is confident. He also needs a home where his people are home more than not. He gets nervous of left alone too long. Anyone that is lucky enough to bond with him will have a velcro dog for life. He cuddles big time. He likes to sit right behind you. He loves to play. He pay attention to people's habits and is really smart. He will pick up training but will need someone that is very committed to being patient with him. Therefore, he is not appropriate for a busy house or a home with small kids. He is beingfostered in San Diego. Tripp is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. We do not ship our dogs. He is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
