In terms of size, this puts him at top end of medium, scientifically recognized as the prime snuggling weight. He has not been cat-tested yet, but he is great with kids and new people. He also makes a great companion to other dogs when introduced properly. Raj had a stressful time in the shelter and has managed to overcome the hardships he faced over his 4-5 years. He is determined to overcome the little bit of anxiety he has left, and what better way to do that than with your help? Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
