Hoss came to our family due to a domestic situation across the street. He absolutely adores us and could literally play ball all day with my toddler. He walks well if I take him on hikes or to the coffee shop. He is dominant with our other dog but backs off if you tell him to give the other dog some space. He is such a lover and will follow you around, sit, heel, lick you, sit on your lap, etc. I have found that he is territorial protective of his 'pack' (humans and dogs) within the house space and shows mild agression based on fear towards strangers. He eventually warms up and is asking them to play. I have not seen him act this way with strangers outside the home space. It is an area that could be worked on unless you are looking for a dog to guard your home/family. The previous owner would just send him to his kennel when someone new came in the house. He responds to commands like that very well. He is really sweet.
