OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hello to all you fun people out there! My name is Misty and I am a sweet, smart and FUN girl. I was dumped with a couple of my friends but lucky for me, K-9 Angels Rescue found me! I am all groomed and smell sweet and in just one short day at my Foster Momma's house, I learned to use the doggy dog, play with toys and sleep in a crate. Foster Momma sits on the floor and plays with me and it's awesome! I've discovered that I can jump almost as good as JJ Watt and I climb on the pool rock like a little mountain goat! It's easy to play and have fun when I have a human to play with and a full belly and a safe place to sleep. I've only had one accident in the house. I get along with other dogs and with children. I sleep all night with no problems and would rather sleep next to you in the bed instead of the crate. I'm adorable, playful, almost house trained and beautiful! What more could you ask for? Come to meet me and see if I can be part of your forever family! Misty is a Female Havanese / Miniature Schnauzer that we estimate to be around 7-8 months old. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
