KENZIE IS OUR LONGEST RESIDENT IN THE KENNEL. PLEASE SHARE OUR LITTLE PIGLET! Meet Kenzie. This poor baby girl was living in her own filth in a cold garage since she was a baby. She had her first litter of puppies at just 8 months old and none of them survived. She's only 1-2 years old now, we can't imagine what she's been through in her short life already. She came in with a kind Sauk Village Police Officer, too scared to walk so she had to be carried in. Her face, ears, head, and body covered in sores, her legs were covered in urine staining and scald, she was underweight, and terrified. Her muzzle was red, raw, and irritated, and her hair was thinned down her back from being covered in fleas. In true Pittie fashion despite everything, she's still a sweetheart. After about 10 minutes of feeding her treats and giving her love, her tail was no longer tucked and she was wagging and giving kisses! She's an itty bitty pittie too! Her tiny little self is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. She has been getting spoiled rotten and getting all the medical attention and love she needed, NOW she's looking for a home of her own! So far we know she doesn't care for cats and she has no signs of food aggression. She takes treats so gently. She does best with more laid back dogs, and adores people!
