About Wendy (aka Brie)

Wonderful Wendy is a 16 week old mix who we think resembles a pug, dachshund and chihuahua, although we don't know who the parents were. She weighs 6 pounds and is microchipped. We think she may grow to 13-15 pounds when full grown. She came to us as an owner surrender with a number of other siblings who were all adopted a few months ago. Wendy was recently returned due to landlord issues and no fault of her own. She is very much a people pleaser. She loves to snuggle when playtime is over and LOVES to give lots of kisses. She is nearly 100% housebroken for going outside, but if needed in the house, she will use a puppy pad. Based on her age she has not yet been spayed. This procedure is included in her adoption fee along with her puppy shots and must be done at our vets. Wendy needs to be in a home that will give her plenty of time to run and play and a fenced yard would be preferred. Older children and other small dogs are a HUGE PLUS! She loves toys, balls, and LOVES to chew, so chew toys are a MUST for this sweetie. Wendy is very cat, kitten and small dog friendly. Older pets may find her a bit of a challenge with wanting to play all the time. Wendy sleeps like a rock through the night (8+ hours). Her favorite place is right between the pillows and her humans. When unattended, she stays in an open puppy pen (up to two hours). She has never been crated but would likely adapt if for short periods of time.
