About Niko

Hi there, my name is Niko! I'm a one year old Australian Kelpie/ Chihuahua/ Shepherd mix. Honestly? No one knows what type of mix I am, only that I'm darn cute! I know that I may be just a small fry, but I have a larger than life personality that is almost as big as my ears! I am very playful and friendly, and greet newcomers with a wagging tail and my signature smile (I pull back my lips into a charming grin and show off my white puppy teeth.) I still have lots of puppy energy left over, but once I'm done playing, I like to snuggle in your lap. I'm a cutie pie, that's for sure. I haven't been a housepet before, so I'm a little unsure about this whole so-called leash thing. But hey, whatever makes you happy, I guess! I'm very eager to please, and so I'm getting better at walking on a leash every day. Did you hear me say that I've never been a pet before? It's true! I came in as a stray, but now I've decided to abandon my vagabond ways and settle into a nice home with some nice owners. So... umm... what do ya say? Can I be your good boy?
