About PEARL

My foster mom says I'm as beautiful and precious as a pearl from the ocean, and she thinks I am a real jewel! She also says my little hairy toes are so cute, just like itty bitty bunny feet! I was just skin and bones, a tiny little thing and all alone in the world when I was trapped and dumped at a place where they were going to kill me because no one wanted me, and I was scared of everything! I'm a little long haired Siamese mix, with what my foster mom says are the sweetest big blue eyes! She thinks I may be around five to six years old. All I know is that if not for her, I was going to die alone and unloved. She came and took me out of there just in the nick of time! They had labeled me 'feral' because I was so scared for my life I wouldn't let anyone touch me at first! Who wouldn't be? Anyway, she has been very patient with me, and I am learning to like being petted. It's a bit hard for me because of so much trauma, but I am trying really hard to work on it, because I want so much to have a quiet forever home of my very own with someone who will be very patient, gentle and loving with me for the rest of my life. I really like my food, but like any girl, I only like the best, both wet and dry! I enjoy playing with other cats, and my foster sister Cesara and I play around a lot. I like toys too, even though sometimes I throw them in my water dish for fun. As long as you remember to be gentle and patient with me, we can work on petting and maybe laps together! Even though I have a little bit of that famous Siamese 'tude, I'm mostly just shy. To be sure I was never misused for my looks again, my foster mom made sure I am spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and have a microchip to make sure I always get back home if I am ever lost.
