THIS IS A COURTESY POST FOR AN INDEPENDENT RESCUER. THIS IS NOT A PAWS WORLDWIDE FOSTER CAT. My foster mom says I have the most beautiful emerald green eyes she's ever seen! She really loves my very silky soft fur too! I was just a very little boy when I was caught in a trap and dumped all alone at a big scary place called a shelter. I had no one to protect me, so I did my best to try and protect myself. That made the people there decide I was 'feral,' so they were going to kill me! I was never feral, just frightened for my life! I wasn't even going to get the chance for anyone to meet me and look past my shyness to see what a wonderful, sweet little guy I really am. They put me in a room to wait for my execution, and somebody told my foster mom about me. She came to the shelter and took me to safety just in the nick of time! I am young, between about one and two, like to play with toys and other cats, and snuggle with them when we get to be friends. Most of the time, I am pretty quiet and won't get in your way or into any mischief. I've been around big, mellow dogs too, and they don't bother me. I may be a shy little guy, but all I really need is a chance to relax and feel safe for you to see me really shine! Once I do, I enjoy attention and will sometimes purr when you pet me! My foster mom loves me, but she wants me to find a quiet furever home of my own with someone patient, gentle and hopefully a little experienced with quiet guys like me who have so much love to give! I am neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and have a microchip to make sure I will always be safe if I am ever lost again. If you think you might be the purrfect person to let me love you for a lifetime, please talk to my foster mom about making me part of your family!
