About Sammy

This black beauty is Sammy and he has a sad story. Sammy has only had 1 owner his entire life and he was very, very loved. When they lost their home his owner was unable to take him with her. Devastated, she surrendered Sammy to WAAAG so that we could find him a new forever home. He hid from us for the first couple of days, but slowly he started to trust and came out of hiding for pets and purrs. We have found him to be cautious with new people, but then he becomes a friendly, laid back kind of kitty who craves attention. Sammy is somewhat vocal and enjoys sitting in his cat tree looking out at the goings on at the rescue. He has been a wonderful babysitter to the kittens at the rescue and enjoys kids. He kind of ignores the dogs - he is pretty chill :-) ��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD Sammy is 7 yrs young, has been well cared for by his former owner, examined by our vet and has exhibited no health issues. We have taken care of his neuter and brought him up to date on his vaccines. All Sammy needs now is a loving forever home.
