Happiness gleams in her grin and in her gaze, adding a special radiance to sweet and sensitive Roxy. Clearly once dearly loved, this 13-pound brindle beauty is adept at gauging her foster mom's emotions and reading her signals, listening attentively and responding accordingly. Eager to please and easy to be with, she's extremely well adjusted and exceedingly friendly. She's especially fond of snuggling with her foster mom and gets along easily with her older Chihuahua foster friend. As playful and precocious as a puppy, she loves playing with bones, toys and balls, going for walks (she's honing her leash skills), exploring new surroundings, and even being bathed. Highly motivated by her favorite freeze-dried liver treats, she knows 'come', 'sit' and 'off', is working on 'stay', and is learning to keep her curious paws off the furniture. Both crate and housetrained, all resilient Roxy needs now is a loving home to continue her training and keep her mentally stimulated and physically satisfied fur-ever.
