About Slinky

$275 This handsome chocolate dapple face belongs to Slinky, 8 years 15 chubby pounds, working on losing 1-2 more. He lost his home when his owner moved where Slinky could not go. Like many doxies, Slinky needs some time to warm up to strangers. Once he feels confortable, he is the lovingest dog ever! Slinky is energetic, loves to retrieve toys, will bring them right back to you. He's been taught to come when called and sit on command. His potty habits are good as long as he is taken out on a routine schedule. And he's a good leash walker but does not appreciate the strange dogs at a dog park. Slinky had a best friend lab in his former home. They cuddled a lot. He would do well in a household with another dog. He could be an only dog with a lot of human attention. Slinky loves to sleep in the big bed with his person. He is a late sleeper! He will not chew on anything but his soft toys. He enjoys riding in the car.
