About Tizzy

Meet Tizzy!!! Tizzy is the epitome of a little girl! Shy but flirty, Tizzy is a 13 week old Poodle and Shih Tzu (or Shih Poo) who needs a forever family so she can blossom! Tizzy came to be in rescue because a very nice family truly accidentally had a litter with their Male Poodle and Female Shih Tzu who they thought were separated. (Now Mommy is spayed). The Mom had 4 puppies and they decided to keep two and a brother of the family decided to take two (Tizzy and her brother Charlie who is listed separately). The brother did not check with this landlord at his apartment in Orange County and had to bring them back to the family. With the Mom of the family in the hospital it was just too many dogs! Tizzy has a soft coat that is shiny and beyond soft. There are accents of mahogany brown in her coat that don't necessarily show in photos. She is non-shedding and hypoallergenic and she is doing pretty well with her housebreaking. Of course as she is a 13 week old puppy training needs to continue. In rescue she is with large dogs and small as well as cats and came from a household of small children. Her adoption fee includes his current vaccinations, spay(in accordance with our adoption contract), deworming, microchip, collar and leash. An adoption fee does apply. As we pre-screen via email only please tell us a bit about you such as your lifestyle, work schedule, activity level, area you live in, house or apartment, how many adults, children and pets in the home, where your pet stays when you are out or at work and where your pet will sleep. Please note that poodle like breeds need to be groomed about every 6 weeks to prevent them from getting matted. Puppies are also a bit of work in the beginning so please be sure everyone is on board with the time and needs of a puppy.
