About Misty

Misty is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Misty is currently fostered in Dade City, FL (Pasco County). Misty is an intelligent 2-year-old Aussie x collie mix of about 45 lbs. She was surrendered for chewing blankets when her people left the home, which she has not shown any signs of since being in rescue. She is a lovely, lower-energy girl who will make a wonderful companion for someone. She does not play with toys at this time, and will only play with other low-energy dogs, preferring to avoid the heavier players in her foster home. She loves all humans, young and young at heart. She gravitates toward people and the treats they may provide. She walks nicely on leash and is housebroken. Misty is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative.
