About Ginger

Meet GingerSnap. She's named that for her color and the piece of her ear that was 'bitten' off before she was born. She is almost 2 year old, spayed Red Heeler. She is a very trainable dog - she's even been learning to truffle hunt and we think she would be an amazing agility dog. She has spent her life around chickens, goats, kids and other dogs. She rounds up the chickens for bed at night and loves to chase goats. Unfortunately Ginger also likes to 'Heel' joggers, cyclists and delivery drivers. She has nipped several strangers entering our property or jogging on the road so a fully fenced yard is a must. We LOVE her so much but we can't fence in our property in a way that would keep everyone safe. Someone with more experience could probably resolve the issue. She has never nipped any guests or household members. Please consider adopting this sweet dog!
