About Ash

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Adoption Fee: $25 Age: 5 months Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped Ash was born March 29th, 2018 after his Mom came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue. Shortly after being initially posted for adoption in July, this spunky, playful boy miscalculated a jump from the cat tree and broke his hind leg. Ash healed like a champ and is now ready for his forever home. Ash's vet expects no serious long term complications from this break, outside of some possible arthritis as he ages. Ash has full mobility and has healed wonderfully. Ash is a playful boy. He loves to romp and wrestle with other kittens. And as evidenced by his tumble, he enjoys exploring great heights in his foster home. Another young cat or kitten will be essential in Ash's future home. He bonds very tightly to the other cats in his foster home. He also very much enjoys playing with the tails of the dogs in the house. Ash is an observer and can be shy when meeting new people. The best home for Ash would be a quiet home, without young children, with another animal or two that he can bond and play with. Ash's favorite game is to 'attack' what is under the blanket. Making the bed each morning is the best! Especially if another kitten or a foot is hiding under that blanket! While Ash does sleep in bed (or sometimes under the bed) at night he is not an incredibly affectionate cat. He prefers companionship over snuggles, often sitting next to his foster mom on the couch or snuggling a cozy blanket nearby. Ash is a low maintenance and easy going guy who really will make a wonderful companion for the right family. He is a striking cat with a very chill personality. He loves to sunbathe, snuggle a kitten or two and watch birds out of the window. He does not really enjoy being picked up and held for long periods of time but is always in the room with his foster mom. Ash does love to receive pets and head rubs (behind the ears is the best!) and will seek out attention on his terms in his forever home.
