Kara is a fun, smart, energetic and friendly, three-year-old, 16-pound, fawn and black Lhasa Apso/Poodle-mix with an adorable personality looking for a loving guardian. When Kara's owner passed away, she was turned into rescue. She had never been professionally groomed before and she was a matted mess. She also hadn't been to a vet since she was a puppy. Now she has been professionally groomed, spayed, vaccinated for rabies, distemper, bordatella and heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. She had been loved and cared for since she was a pup and has a fabulous disposition with people, other dogs as well as cats. She is housebroken and well-behaved in the home. Her adoption fee of $500 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits. To meet and possibly adopt Kara please contact [email protected] for an adoption application. She is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
