About Otis

Otis is a an old soul, he is quiet and calm most of the time. He enjoys walking and Jogging and just sitting at your feet. Otis was adopted from an animal shelter in February and has joined our pack of two teenage girls and on large 1 year old Shepard mix. This powerful animal needs more than I can provide at this time. He needs a dominant leader who will take time to help him socialize with other dogs and work through his anxiety. I had a consult with a dog psychologist on how to work with Otis and have been making needed adjustments in how I relate to him so that he can feel more confident and and less anxious. There have been a couple of incidents involving animals and one incident involving an adult. I am happy to share info with you regarding those incidents as well as outcomes. I want Otis to find a new home with an owner who is kind yet knowledgeable about how to relate to and care for this powerful breed! He enjoy human attention and is also just happy chilling at your feet. I hate to part wth him but he needs someone who is able to provide the leadership he needs.
