About Rocco

Rocco is a 10-year-old super sweet and handsome fella. He came into our rescue as an owner surrender due to his diabetes. He has to be given 5 units of insulin every 12 hours and kept on a special glycemic diet to help regulate his blood sugar. He enjoys going on short walks, playing with toys, and lounging around the house. He does not like being picked up, most likely because he is scared you will stick him with a needle, but he is very sweet and will come up to you for snuggles. He is mostly house trained but does have some urgency issues due to the diabetes, but he does great in a diaper. He does well in the car, is good with other dogs/cats, and is crate-trained.
