About Grizzly

Grizzly, along with his brother, KoKo (see separate post) came in together as strays to the Castaic LA County Animal Shelter, CA. As a corgi rescuer, I've been assisting first the owner, then the owner's sister in helping to rehome them together. There was a lot of discrepancies in their posts on Craig's List and now that both of these dogs were picked up as strays, I can only question their sincerity. This dog is the more outing of the two and it would be great if he could be adopted with his brother, who looks more corgi and Sheltie. Grizzly has a commitment to adopt on 6/22 but Koko here has no commitments yet. Grizzly's first hold has 6/22 after he's neutered as the adoptable date and you can call in to the shelter to put your name and # as 2nd hold or interested party thru 5th hold. Technically both are available on 6/19 but since this one, Grizzly has a first hold and is set to be spayed his available date is 6/22. You need to go to the shelter physically to put a first hold on him and the shelter is open today, Sunday, from 10am to 5pm and Mon thru Thurs 12noon to 7pm. You can call into the shelter at (661) 257-3191 and ask to be put down as a 2nd hold interested party and get a date to adopt. The dog would be neutered prior to release. Here is the shelter info.
