About Eamon

Hi I'm Eamon! I am a heeler mix, about 25 lbs. and approximately 4 months old and will still need to be altered yet when I am old enough. I've had some time to settle in and realize my foster dog siblings aren't out to attack me so my playful side is coming out! My foster Mom thinks that I am a bit on the alpha dog side, which my fur foster siblings like to challenge me on every now and then, so I have been put in my place a time or two. I now love to play with my foster dog siblings that are big and small and we chase and wrestle in the fenced in yard. I do get inquisitive about the cats in the house, especially when they try to play games with me. I don't hurt them, but just get a little annoying to them. I have also been around some children, but I am a puppy and am still working on my manners to stay down...so I will either need a family with older children or someone that is willing to work with me some more to learn a bit faster. Some of the things that I like best is to lay by your side and for me to lay my head in your lap while you pet and scratch my cute big ears! I also like to stay close to those that I am comfortable with. I do like toys, but we mainly have bones in the house since the other dogs love to tear stuffed toys apart....I have not pulled the stuffings out of the one that I have all to myself though. I LOVE food and like learning new things if you give me a little treat and this has helped me get used to going in my crate while my foster family is away. At first I barked a bit while crated, but then laid down...for the most part I now lay down and take a nap, but sometimes I will bark inside the crate if I get bored. When you finally come home, I get so excited to see you and I cry with joy (it sounds like I'm being stepped on, but trust me, I'm just so happy I need to tell the world!). I'm a good boy, I'm doing pretty good on potty training and have only had a couple of accidents. I did get a bath when I first got here from Texas, and although I wasn't a huge fan of it, I did stay in the tub. I also don't mind when anyone touches my feet, ears or tail....it's just more love I get to experience. I am being fostered in Oshkosh and can't wait to find someone lucky enough to be my new family. My fee is $300 (with a separate $100 deposit check that is shredded with proof of completion of spay/neuter) that includes age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate.
