About Pixie

Little Pixie was all alone in an Amarillo shelter. She was kicked out of her home when her owners could no longer care for her. She had a severe hernia that is now repaired, plus she is spayed. While in the shelter we think she must have gotten into a fight as she came off the transport with her ear torn and a wound on her back. Poor little Pixie has been through so much and just needs to find a home where she can have lots of attention and a sunny spot for her to take naps. She is being treated for her wounds and they seem to not bother her at all. She loves to follow her human around and would love a lap to sit in. She's a tiny little girl, about 5-6 lbs and approx 8 years old. Because of Pixie's size, she'd prefer a home with older kids.
