About Smokey the Bear

Smokey the Bear is 10 months old, great with people and a little shy with pushy dogs but will warm up eventually. We are working on his obedience commands & house training and he has been doing very well. He is now starting to bark at the door when he needs to go outside to potty. If I ignore him for too long though he will have an accident; as long as you let him out within 10-15 minutes after he tells you then he will hold it. He walks pretty good on a leash and has sit mastered without a treat. We are working on stay and wait commands this week. He is a very smart pup and turkey wants to please you. He is not destructive that we have seen, likes to play with toys and has no obnoxious or disturbing behavior that we have seen. We really like him a lot and we think you will too! He has very exaggerated expressions sometimes. When he gets excited about something or scared his eyes get really big and the whites of his eyes makes him super cute. Almost like a cartoon character! Smokey is neutered, up to date on his shots, microchipped and he comes with a collar and leash. We have not seen him around kids or cats but I have no reason to believe that he would not do great with kids. He is gentle and does not jump or run you over.
