Welcome JJ. This is a 5-year-old Rat Terrier. He is about 18 pounds and has an eternal smile on his face. He came in with 3 other dogs of similar breed. Their owner died and the family contacted CCPAL. They didn't want to take them to ACS. CCPAL had space and agreed to find them their forever home. If you want a dog that is sweet and through all the puppy antics this is your girl. He is a over weight but nothing a little exercise won't cure and we are giving him exercise so he is trimming down with the rescue. He loves other dogs and all people. His previous owner was a female so she gravitates to the females. He hasn't been walked a lot on a leash as she was a little unsure about it but she learned easily and was eager to please. He is spayed, healthy, up on her shots and ready for her forever home. He can be adopted locally in Texas where she is in rescue or easily transported to the East or the West Coast.
